Jeff Shaw

Jeff Shaw currently serves as the CEO and Board Chair for The Freedom Collective, but he prefers the title Abolitionist. After living as a prodigal for years, Jesus recaptured Jeff's heart when he was 26-y.o. and called him out of the legal profession and into the fight for freedom for sex trafficking victims. In 2011, the Lord gave him vision to start a ministry that would provide a 24-hour response to women seeking a way out of sex trafficking and exploitation. Jeff still can't believe he gets to spend every day doing what he loves alongside an incredible team he has a blast working with.

Jeff is married with 3 children and loves encouraging people to connect with God's heart for the oppressed. He met his wife, Haley, in the course of doing ministry together and loves that he gets to live on mission with his best friend. Their oldest daughter, Olivia, is a spark plug who loves to lead and be a peacemaker. Their son, William, is named after Jeff's hero, William Wilberforce, and he loves wild animals and wrestling. Their youngest, Liberty, is an absolute joy and a total rascal.

David Gamboa

David Gamboa is an abolitionist whose anti-trafficking journey began with a life-changing encounter in Houston’s cantina bar brothels, exposing the hidden reality of trafficking in his own backyard. With a Master of Arts in Church History and Theology from The Bible Seminary and 18 years of ministry experience, he brings a distinctive theological lens to this urgent cause. For the past eight years, David has served as Communications Director at Elijah Rising, collaborating with a dynamic team to develop survivor care programs and nurture spiritual formation within the anti-trafficking movement. He also serves as Treasurer of The Freedom Collective, working alongside national leaders to advance the overwhelming need for low-barrier emergency care. Rooted in his faith in Jesus and the transformative power of prayer, David inspires others to engage thoughtfully in the fight against trafficking. He resides in Houston with his wife, Micah, and their children, Elise and Asher.
